1. Identifying information

In compliance with the duty of information set out in Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the following information is provided: the owner of this website and the tools that make it up is the project Aevoran (hereinafter, “the Website”), domiciled for these purposes in Valencia, Spain. 2. Users and terms of use

Access to and/or use of this portal grants the status of USER, who accepts, from such access and/or use, the General Terms of Use set out here. The Website provides access to educational content and free study tools (Pomodoro timer, flashcards, and citation generator) belonging to Aevoran. The USER assumes responsibility for the use of the portal and the integrated tools.

3. Use of the tools: no sign-up required

Aevoran’s tools (Pomodoro timer, flashcards, and citation generator) do not require any kind of sign-up: there is no need to create an account, whether by email or through third-party services, to use them. They are completely free to use and never require entering banking or payment details, as the Website does not have a payment gateway.

Any content the user generates within the tools (for example, their flashcards or their bibliography list) is stored exclusively in the user’s own browser, using the technology known as local browser storage (localStorage), and is never sent to or stored on any Aevoran server. Aevoran has no access to this content at any time.

4. Monetization and advertising

Aevoran is an educational project funded through the inclusion of advertising.

The Website may host advertising content (such as Google AdSense). Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Website complies with applicable law.

5. Intellectual and industrial property

Aevoran holds all intellectual and industrial property rights to its website, as well as to the elements contained therein (including, but not limited to: the tools’ code, design, texts, and logos). All rights reserved.

Content that the user explicitly generates through the tools (their flashcards, their bibliography) is the exclusive property of the user. As stated in section 3, this content is stored only on their device, with Aevoran never having access to it.

6. Disclaimer of warranties and liability

Aevoran shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for damages of any kind that may arise from, among other things: errors or omissions in the content, unavailability of the portal, or the transmission of viruses or malicious programs, despite having adopted all necessary technological measures to prevent this.

Since content generated by the user (flashcards, bibliography) is stored exclusively in their own browser, Aevoran cannot guarantee its preservation and assumes no liability for its loss, including, among other cases, the deletion of browsing data, switching browsers or devices, or the use of private browsing.
